Robert E. Lee's Orderly A Modern Black Man's Confederate Journey welcomes guest, Dr. Otis W. Pickett, Professor of History at Mississippi College, A Christian College in Mississippi and the forward writer to his first book, his friend and brother in Christ. Feel the tension building as two friends discuss Confederate Heritage from two separate views.   Dr. Pickett and Orderlyforlee discuss how to navigate the forked roads of Grace, Race and Confederate Heritage. Dr. Pickett has multiple ancestral connections to the Civil War. Dr. Pickett is one of the first Southern White guys Orderlyforlee encountered regarding his Confederate Heritage. Dr. Pickett, native of Charleston, South Carolina with deep Confederate Heritage shares his story of how he has processed his Southern story and Confederate ancestry. Orderlyforlee's Black Confederate journey is as much about the people he has met more than anything else. The two men share opposite views on the Confederate flag, Confederate Monuments and critical race issues in Mississippi and yet share mutual love and respect for each other attending the same Church in Jackson, Mississippi where both men serve as Elders.
