The Orderlyforlee Podcast is about Grace, Race and Confederate Heritage from a Black Perspective.  The host, Orderlyforlee, invites you on one wild Southern ride!!  Robert E. Lee's Orderly A Modern Black Man's Confederate Journey was published by Al Arnold, native Mississippian, in October of 2015. His second work, an expanded version,"Robert E. Lee's Orderly A Black was published August 3, 2018. 

 His ancestor, Turner Hall, Jr., was an Orderly for Robert E. Lee during the Civil War and was a Slave of another famous Southern General, Nathan Bedford Forrest. Arnold takes you on the journey of his discovery, the people he has met and the stories he has heard. Hear how ghost story unraveled right in the midst of all of the controversy on Confederate monuments, Southern Heritage and the racial climate of 2015 following the Charleston Church Shooting and the battle over the Mississippi State Flag.

Orderlyforlee Podcast Interview with Gregory Newson on the Wild Southern Ride.

Orderlyforlee invites his friend, Gregory Newson, Artist, publisher and Black Confederate Advocate from New York City to have a candid conversation about Black Confederate Heritage and his experiences. The Wild Southern Ride takes a tour to New York to find a lone Black Confederate in the ranks. The two men met for the first time in Memphis, TN and have shared a friendship in a unique way every sense. Hear the men talk as Orderlyforlee allows us a window into a special relationship along his Confederate journey. Two Black men from different parts of the country take on the critics of the South, defends the historical legacy of Southern Generals and invite you into their world of Southern Heritage.  Newson is a self published Author of, "The Uppity Spy" And "Get Forrest" as well as many other publications.  An Artist and illustrator, Newson also teamed with Arnold to do the illustrations in his second book, Robert E. Lee's orderly A Black Youth's Southern Inheritance.  Arnold describes Gregory Newson as one of the most fascinating people he has met on his Black Confederate Journey.  Newson, known throughout the country for sporting his Gray wool Confederate uniform, is a unique representation of Confederate diversity.
